Nepal Earthquake Appeal

The worst earthquake after 81 years has struck on the morning of 25 April with a 7.8-magnitude. More than 8 million people have now been affected and hospitals are unable to cope with the numbers of people in need of medical attention.Nepal is already one of the poorest countries in the world. Around 80% of the population live in rural areas. Many have been left homeless by the disaster and the country is already reported to be running out of water and food, with frequent power cuts. Especially when disasters strike, it’s the poorest who feel the impact worst. With little to fall back on, when people’s health, homes or livelihoods are damaged, the road to recovery can be very long. Therefore, helping the people of Nepalese to rebuild their lives is going to be a major, long-term endeavour.
After their call for help, our charity partner ‘Kimse Yokmu’ association sent their rescue teams to Nepal. In addition, we as a charity organization are too launching a campaign to help as we believe it is part of humanity to be on the side of those in need within their difficult moments. For this reason, we are aiming to rescue those in need with donations and would appreciate any kind giving because surely the one who gives is never the one who loses but gains the warmths of many hearts which are in need…
